Data Collection
PassPhoto stores your working photo in your browser so you can move between editing and download steps. When you request an AI compliance check or enhanced background removal, the image is transmitted securely to our server and the relevant processing provider for that request. We do not use submitted photos to identify you or for advertising.
Photo Processing
AI compliance checks use OpenAI and enhanced background removal may use Replicate. The processed result is returned to your browser. Those providers process the image under their own service and privacy terms, so avoid using these optional features if you do not want the photo sent to a cloud processor.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand page usage, device types, and performance. Analytics may set cookies and receive technical information such as your IP address, browser, and referring page. Photo files are not intentionally included in analytics events.
Browser Storage
Your photos are temporarily stored in your browser's localStorage to enable features like editing and downloading. This data remains on your device only and can be cleared at any time by clearing your browser data or using the app's clear function.
